![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Katrina’s music is informed by a variety of artistic disciplines: painting, sculpture, photography, architecture and dance. Katrina was appointed Lecturer in Music at Edinburgh Napier University in 2007 and is currently Programme Leader of the Bachelor of Music degree. During her PhD studies she was awarded a number of scholarships that enabled her to undertake research in New York, resulting in a large-scale orchestral work influenced by the architecture of the Chrysler Building. She then completed an MMus and PhD (in composition) at the University of Edinburgh both degrees funded by the AHRC. Katrina’s first compositional studies were taken at the University of Glasgow.
